CAPPED Support Groups
Research has proven, people who have a good support system live
longer, happier, healthier lives.
Support groups are an important pieces in the puzzle of cancer
survival. CAPPED Volunteer Group Leaders have received special
training from People Living Through Cancer to offer support groups
to our community. We are starting out with an afternoon and an
evening general support group. As we grow into the groups, we will
decide what other groups are needed to best support our
participants.
Our support groups are currently meeting in The CAPPED
Building at 907 New York Ave., Alamogordo, NM, at the
following dates and times:
- Evening Support Group - 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each
month from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Afternoon Support Group - 2nd and 4th Wednesday of
each month from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Spanish Speaking Support Group - 3rd Mondays of each
month from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 8:30
p.m.
